For one of the titles of a story I am writing in Google Docs, I would really like to use the Harry Potter font (the one with the lightning). Could someone explain how to install Harry Potter in Google Docs if there isn’t one? I am not allowed to store anything else on my computer except school-related materials, and I’m pretty sure you need another program to install the font…
I found a tutorial for installing a Google Font in Documents. However, despite following the instructions exactly as directed, nothing seems to change – there is still just a regular Arial that shows up. Could someone help me out here? Thanks!
Hi 🙂 that typeface isn’t available for general use, which means it can’t be used outside of Google Docs. The only way would be buying it from somewhere… But no one knows where 😛 Sorry 🙁 Reply Delete
ALSO- I have been trying to access my documents on google docs from school but it won’t let me because they are blocked by filters. Please help! Reply Delete
Key features: 1. It is a mac font, which can’t be seen in Windows and linux systems by default 2. If you do not have Google Docs installed on your computer, then there is no way for you to see the full version of the fonts only in Apps like gdocs.. 3. Sorry… No one knows where they sell it :/ Reply Delete
I was reading about how to make cursive text in word but my school put a block on these sites so I don’t know what else to do. Please help ):< >:( Reply Delete
Unfortunately Gmail doesn’t allow custom HTML or CSS styling (unless very basic code such as changing the colour of text). It sometimes works offline though if saved correctly!

What Is The Harry Potter Font in Google Docs?
There are only a few fonts you can use, all provided by Google. At the bottom of the Font drop-down menu, you will find an option to “Add Fonts.”. One of the fonts might look similar to your Harry Potter font. You might try Henny Penny.Example…
The font family name is “Comic Sans MS”. All you need to do is type the font name into the first box (replace “Comic Sans MS”). Then all you need to do is click apply.
When using this, it’s probably best not to use any other fonts that are similar to your original choice, as there may be… issues with the text spacing etc. However if they look too different, people might think they’re fake. It can take a little time for Google Docs to update the page after changing fonts so please be patient or try again later. Also please note that if you change your mind about what font you want it could result in some sentences having different upper and lower case letters (i.e. “G” instead of the capital “I”)
