In this article,we had described How many twisted teas can get me drunk? I’m sorry to say that there is no limit when it comes down do how many twisted teas I can drink. Following my first sip, which took place on Halloween night and left me feeling pretty hungover after drinking four cupfuls within 45 minutes or so – but only because they were all quite strong-alcoholic beverages in anticipation of what would be happening later at midnight while out trick or treating with friends who had yet another round…
I weigh 150 pounds as well–is this too light? Is something wrong?? Twisted drinks seem like they must have higher levels alcohol
Drinks are always an interesting topic of conversation. It’s kind of like drinking four beers, but not as heavy on the stomach and with more flavor! As much I enjoy iced tea (especially in summer), when it’s hot outside you can find me enjoying some wine or twisted tea instead – either way its something different than what most people would think about first glance at my appearance alone
I don’t discriminate against any type…or maybe just ones that come packed full o’ sugar.
Since I like to keep my blog posts open and honest (no matter how potentially embarrassing they might be to share), I thought it would be fun to take part in a ‘wine diary’ type post. Of course, the drink of choice for this experiment was Twisted Tea. Who doesn’t love having fun and getting twisted while still proclaiming themselves to be “girly”?
With all that said, let’s get rolling! Here we go…
6:30 pm: Twist & Shout … At Home!
I’d been at work since 4:30 am so I just finished up with about 7 hours left that included a few meetings and lots of other tasks. Now it’s time to relax – or should I say, get twisted. I figured why not start early and work my way up to the ‘big event’ tonight?
I’m tired and sore today so I’ll just sip on a couple of Twisted Teas for now and then go out later.
6:30 pm: Just walking through Walmart is enough to make you feel thirsty!
It was a beautiful day outside – which meant even more people than usual were out shopping at Walmart (the only store open by me late at night). And when you’re in college, it’s ALWAYS time for some good ol’ R&R (even if your version of relaxing looks like spending money…).
7:25 pm: First Beer Down & Why Not Another One?
I’m feeling a little hungry and I know it’s going to be hard for me to eat anything substantial after tonight, so why not go ahead and get myself something tasty now?
I decided on tortilla chips doused in salsa (with a kick), washed down with another Twisted Tea. Food should only make the fun last longer; right?! So I might as well enjoy it while I can…
Lightweight? What are you, a lightweight. It tastes great too.
You may be wondering, “How does drinking eight cups of coffee actually help?” The answer is that it doesn’t really. What happens when you drink too many caffeinated drinks at once and then later on eat something sweet or have an alcoholic beverage? Your body experiences what’s called ‘blues.’ This means the release of dopamine into your system which causes feelings such as happiness, contentment etcetera- all while making sure we don’t forget about those unpleasant side effects like restlessness (aka jitters).
• Tips: Drink lots water throughout day; avoid overeating sweets/sugar.
